Why this site exists

This site exists to show the work, not just describe it: the systems I've built to turn satellite and sensor data into environmental predictions people actually rely on, the papers behind that work, and — over time — writing on the engineering problems that show up at the intersection of machine learning, HPC, and Earth observation.
Expect this space to grow slowly and stay useful rather than grow fast and stay noisy. New projects, publications, and talks get added as they happen; longer write-ups will land here when there's something worth saying, not on a schedule.
